We are looking to grow our team by adding a new Automation Sales Engineer. This is a full-time salary position that is responsible for concepting and cost projecting throughout the sales and build process of custom automation systems. The sales engineer will also be responsible for maintaining customer service and sales support throughout the process.

Job requirements include the following:

Previous knowledge/experience with automation and equipment
Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, controls systems, and their applications is required. Hands-on production and manufacturing experience is a plus!
CAD experience required, AutoCAD or SolidWorks preferred
Maintain professional relationship with customers, vendors, and co-workers
Minimal travel inside the US, with little to no overnight or weekend travel required
Job responsibilities include the following:

Customer communications as appropriate (cost projecting, layout of project details, project management etc.)
All new job order set ups, concepting jobs, and order entry
New project kickoffs with customer and internal groups
Communications with Automation Manager, Mechanical Engineering Manager, and Controls Engineering Manager
Customer visits
Prepare follow up quotes, quote revisions, and "adder" quotes on current projects
Progressive billings on current projects
